Paul Simon, Wife Edie Brickell Charged In Domestic Spat

Paul Simon and wife Edie Brickell were both arrested and charged with disorderly conduct on Saturday night, April 26, after an apparent domestic dispute, according to New Canaan Police.

NCadvertiser.com reports a call to police about the incident at the couple’s New Canaan house was made about 8 p.m. Saturday night, police said.

Simon and Brickell, who have been married for more than 20 years, have lived in New Canaan with their three children for years.

They both were scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Monday morning.

Simon and Harry Connick Jr., also a New Canaan resident, performed a concert to salute New Canaan first-responders last September at the high school. The concert, emceed by Brian Williams and his daughter Allison Williams, was to benefit New Canaan’s Staying Put.
