Chicago Radio: Patrick Mannelly To Continue WSCR Show

Matt Spiegel, Patrick Mannelly
In July, WSCR 670 AM The Score announced that the Chicago Bears' recently retired long snapper Patrick Mannelly had joined the station as a contributor. Wednesday, according to CRM,  it was announced that Mannelly will take over as permanent co-host of the station's midday show, teaming up with Matt Spiegel.

The newly re-named "Spiegel and Mannelly Show" will make its debut next Tuesday, September 2nd. The show will be heard weekdays from 9:00am-1:00pm.

Just over two months ago, on June 20th, Mannelly, announced his retirement from professional football.

He may be retired from playing football, but Mannelly, 39, is far from retired from working. The longtime local gridiron star joined WSCR-AM as a Bears and football expert in mid-July.

He replaced WSCR-AM's midday co-host Dan McNeil who left the airwaves just before the end of his contract in mid-June.
