The Tennessean reports Lambert is the leading nominee for this year's awards and the only woman in the history of the awards to receive nine nominations in one show. She also earned nine nominations in 2010. Alan Jackson holds the overall record with 10 nominations, which he earned in 2002. Previously, Haggard held that record with nine nominations in 1970.

The show, presented by the Country Music Association, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena and will air live on ABC.
