Thursday on “The Alan Colmes Show,” Alan spoke with David Bernstein, General Manager for Broadcast Operations for Talkers and former program director of WOR Radio in New York.

David hired Joan Rivers in the late 1990s to host a daily talk show, a program that aired both locally and nationally for five years.

David and Alan discussed the comedy icon’s passion for radio and her desire to talk about current events while still keeping true to herself. David also talked about her incredible work ethic, even coming in on vacations to do her show.
