NJ Radio: Delmarva To Acquire Two Jersey Stations

Delmarva Broadcasting Company (DBC) has entered into an agreement to acquire WFAI 1510 AM in Salem, NJ and WJKS 107.1 FM/Kiss in Canton, NJ from QC Communications.

Delmarva will add the pair to it’s current Wilmington cluster that already includes WDEL 1150 AM, WSTW 93.7 FM and WXCY 103.7 FM.

Delmarva will begin managing the stations on January 1st, via a Local Marketing Agreement with QC that will continue through all customary regulatory approval and final closing.

“We’re thrilled to bring these stations into the Delmarva family,” said DBC VP/GM Michael Reath.

“Wilmington is a terrific market for local radio and this transaction further strengthens our ability to to deliver original content to even more audiences and thus provide more value to our advertisers.” DBC, which has owned and operated radio stations in Delaware since 1927, currently owns 11 stations in The First State and eastern Maryland.
