San Bernardino CA Radio: Lou Desmond OUT At KTIE

Lou Desmond
Local radio personality Lou Desmond is off Salem Communication's KTIE 590 AM after four-and-a-half years on the airwaves, replaced by a brand-new show, according to SBSun.com.

Both Desmond and the station say the split was amicable, and Desmond said that within two or three weeks he plans to start a podcast with similar style and guests as he had before.

“The most important thing to me is, thanks to AM 590 and (parent company) Salem,” he said.

“They gave me a great opportunity, and now I’m looking forward to doing this with some friends.”

Station manager Brad Anderson said The Lou Desmond Show would be replace with The Jen and Don Show.

KTIE brands itself as The Answer “your home for Intelligent, Conservative, Talk Radio and the Inland Empire’s home of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team.”

It’s part of Salem Communications, which describes itself as “America’s leading radio broadcaster, Internet content provider, and magazine and book publisher targeting audiences interested in Christian and family-themed content and conservative values.”
