Daytona Radio: Talk Producer Fired After Kidde-Porn Arrest

Chand Worob
The owner and general manager of WNDB 1150 AM said Friday they and their staff were “shocked” by the arrest of the executive producer of “The Marc Bernier Show” on child pornography charges.

“We are disappointed with this news, and the entire WNDB staff was as shocked as the rest of the community,” WNDB owner Paul Stone and general manager Barry Brown said in a statement released Friday about the arrest of Chand Worob.

Worob, 25, was arrested Thursday and charged with 20 child porn-related charges, records show. He was released Friday afternoon from the Volusia County Branch Jail after posting $200,000 bail just minutes before he was supposed to have his first appearance before a judge.

Daytona Beach police went to the station’s studio and took Worob into custody moments after Bernier’s three-hour talk show concluded at 6 p.m. Thursday.

He said none of WNDB’s employees were aware of Worob’s illegal activities.

Stone and Brown said Worob’s employment with the station has been terminated, according to the News-Journal.
