AC/DC Drummer Pleads Guilty to Dirty Deeds

Phil Rudd
AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has pleaded guilty in New Zealand to threatening to kill his former personal assistant, according to the NY Daily News.

The 60-year-old rocker admitted as part of the plea that he wanted to have the ex-employee "taken out," and that he offered an associate a choice between a car, a motorcycle, $153,000 or a house if the person agreed to perform the hit.

Rudd then called the victim and threatened him on the phone.

“I’m going to come over and kill you,” Rudd said.

Following a complaint, New Zealand authorities raided the musician’s home in November 2014 and arrested him after they found methamphetamines and marijuana.

Rudd, whose real name is Phillip Witschke, also pleaded guilty to drug possession as part of his plea. He faces up to seven years in prison when he’s sentenced in June.
