Palm Springs Radio: KCLB Adds Mark Thompson Morning Show

Mark Thompson
Alpha Media’s radio station KCLB 93.7 FM has become the first Southern California affiliate of the “Mark in the Morning” show with Los Angeles morning radio personality Mark Thompson, it was announced Tuesdayday by Tricia Bastida, Vice President and General Manager.

This is Thompson’s second time on the air at KCLB; the “Mark and Brian Show” aired on KCLB from 1998 to 2006. (The show then aired on KCLB’s sister station, KDGL “The Eagle,” from 2006 to 2012.) The program originates from flagship station The Sound KSWD 100.3 FM in Los Angeles, owned by Intercom.

“Mark’s return is probably the biggest thing to happen to Palm Springs radio since his departure,” said Bastida. “KCLB will continue to be all about the music, and Mark will create a daily shared experience that Rock fans won’t want to miss.”

Above all, it will be four hours each day with one of the most relatable radio superstars in Southern California.

About Mark Thompson: Mark has been working in radio for 45 years and been doing morning radio for 35 years, 25 of which were spent in Los Angeles.
