News Anchor Lands 'Out-Of-This-World' Interview

John Trout, the new host of Westwood One’s America in the Morning, kicks off his debut week with an out-of-this-world interview, literally, when he talks to two of the orbiting International Space Station astronauts today.

Trout will speak to Commander Scott Kelley and cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko, now in space for 10 months. The full interview will air during America in the Morning on Thursday. Excerpts from the interview will also appear on Westwood One News and at Westwood One on Demand.

The Expedition 46 Mission international crew of six lives and works while traveling at a speed of five miles per second, orbiting Earth every 90 minutes. Crew members spend about 35 hours each week conducting research in many disciplines to advance scientific knowledge in Earth, space, physical, and biological sciences for the benefit of people living on our home planet. Trout, a seasoned radio and television broadcaster, took the reins of America in the Morning from Jim Bohannon, who stepped back to focus more on The Jim Bohannon Show. The Jim Bohannon Show air weekdays from 10 pm – 1 am ET on more than 250 stations.
