CBS Sports Radio To Cover NCAA Men's Hoops Championship

As the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship quickly approaches, CBS Sports Radio today announced a variety of programming will broadcast live from Houston, Tex. beginning Thursday, Mar. 31 on the nation’s largest 24/7 major-market sports radio network heard on more than 320 stations across the country.

Live from Westwood One’s Radio Row at the George R. Brown Convention Center, the original programming will feature well-known hosts like CBS Sports analyst Doug Gottlieb, former NFL Pro Bowl running back Tiki Barber and media personality Brandon Tierney as they interview leading sports figures, preview the final match-ups, and provide commentary and analysis.

In addition, various CBS RADIO sports stations, including Sports Radio WFAN 660 AM / 101.9 FM New York), SportsRadio KILT 610 AM Houston, WZGC 92.9 FM The Game, will also broadcast live from the city and will air Westwood One’s play-by-play of the NCAA Final Four games on Saturday and the Championship game on Monday night.

Finally, CBS Local Digital Media will present unique content leading up to the championship games, including a live blog with commentary from various personalities, exclusive editorial pieces, as well as a special ‘Fan Essentials’ video series on CBSLocalSports.com.
