Colorado Springs Radio: KVOR Inks New Falcons Broadcast Deal

Cumulus Media announces that it has entered into a multi-year partnership with IMG College to broadcast Air Force Academy athletic events.

The new agreement renews a successful partnership with the Academy that has been in place for 35 years. Air Force football and men’s basketball games will continue to be heard on KVOR 740 AM, Colorado CO while hockey games and select women’s basketball games will be heard on Xtra Sports 1300 KCSF-AM.

The stations will also broadcast coaches’ shows for football, men’s basketball and hockey. Veteran broadcaster, Jim Arthur, will remain as the radio “Voice of the Falcons”.

IMG College represents the multimedia rights for more than 80 collegiate institutions across the country and operates the nation’s largest independent sports radio network.
