iHM, ScoreStream Partner On High School Sports

ScoreStream, and iHeartMedia have entered into a partnership to provide real-time scores and coverage of high school sports across the country through iHeartMedia's Total Traffic and Weather Network (TTWN) and 24/7 News Division.

The new partnership combines the vast reach of TTWN and 24/7 News and its more than 200 million monthly listeners across more than 200 markets with ScoreStream's unparalleled crowd-sourcing platform for sports fans, giving access and building awareness that real-time high school and local sports scores and content is available to consumers across the country.

"Local sports fans crave up-to-date coverage of the teams in their community yet it is incredibly difficult to find unless you are at the game itself. We are excited to partner with iHeartMedia to give loyal fans the access they want as the games happen," said Derrick Oien, CEO of ScoreStream. "This is the perfect marriage of providing fans with the content they demand while connecting brands with their most relevant audiences."

Also by adding ScoreStream's hyper-local content to TTWN and 24/7 News, advertisers will now have the ability to further engage with their target audiences by supporting local content that matters to those individual communities. This partnership provides brands with new opportunities to engage with local high school sports fans.

"Brands want to engage with consumers in a meaningful way that speaks to their commitment to the things that matter to them in their local communities, and sports is one of those important community elements," said  Darren Davis, President of iHeartRadio and iHeartMedia Networks Group.  "ScoreStream gives brands the ability to bring hyper-local sports content to our local audiences on a national scale while increasing their own engagement and loyalty with that audience."
